An info session of the REFRESH project was held at Sumgayit State University

On November 21, at Sumgayit State University, an information day of the project "Green and sustainable global economic improvement in Azerbaijan universities: renewable energy and climate change mitigation-REFRESH" funded by the Erasmus fund of the European Union was held.

The purpose of the event is to involve teaching staff in the Training of Trainers (ToT) program in order to improve the transition period to green energy in Azerbaijan, improve teaching methodologies, course programs and start pilot courses in each partner higher education institution by increasing awareness in the field of renewable energy in our country, in which SSU is also a partner.

The coordinator of the project is Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). 4 European universities (University of Barcelona in Spain, University of Bologna in Italy, Technical University of Denmark, Royal Institute of Technology of Sweden) and 6 local universities (Sumgait State University, Ganja State University, Mingachevir State University, Lankaran State University, Azerbaijan University of Technology) act as partners.
