Azerbaijan Technological University (ATU) hosted an awareness day dedicated to the “Renewable Energy and Climate Change Mitigation for Sustainable and Green Global Economy in Azerbaijan Universities” (REFRESH) project, funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ KA2 framework.

The event focused on sharing updates related to the recent study visit to Sweden within the scope of the REFRESH project, coordinated by Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and implemented with the participation of several Azerbaijani and European partner institutions, including ATU.

During the session, project manager and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ragif Huseynov, introduced the objectives of REFRESH, its consortium of local and international partners, and the current activity plan under implementation.

Following this, Ramida Khalilova, an international projects specialist, shared key takeaways from the June 10–14 visit to KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. She highlighted the acquired knowledge and best practices related to renewable energy, the development of virtual laboratories, and the upcoming training sessions that will further enhance project implementation.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, where participants discussed project-related topics and explored future opportunities.
