Retraining activities of Azerbaijani Universities

From May 6th to 8th, 2024, within the framework of the "Green and Sustainable Global Economic Improvement at Azerbaijani Universities: Renewable Energy and Climate Change Mitigation - REFRESH" project coordinated by the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), retraining sessions were held at local partner universities (Azerbaijan Technological University, Ganja State University, Lankaran State University, Mingachevir State University, Sumgayit State University).

During the retraining event, representatives of local partners implemented the transfer of knowledge acquired during a study visit to the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), which took place from April 15th to 19th of the current year.

The training provided detailed information on undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Sustainable Energy Systems at DTU, the teaching process, admission requirements of the Faculty of Engineering at DTU for Future Energy specializations, as well as detailed information on Denmark's wind energy and sustainable energy technology specializations, subjects taught, and admission requirements.

The training was attended by academic representatives teaching on alternative and recovered energy sources at local universities, as well as students.
